🪙How to Place Trades on Pluto

Learn how to execute trades on Pluto, the AI trading platform. Our guide walks you through the steps for buying and shorting stocks. Discover how Pluto makes trading easy with no trade fees.

Trading on Pluto is easy and straightforward. Follow these steps to execute a trade:

  1. Navigate to the 'Trade' tab: This can be found in your portfolio.

  2. Search for a stock: You can do this by typing the name or ticker of the stock into the search bar.

  3. Select the stock: Once you've found the stock you want to trade, click on "Select" or directly on the stock in the list.

  4. Choose the trade type: Click on "Buy" if you want to purchase the stock, or "Short" if you want to bet against it.

  5. Enter the quantity: Specify the number of shares you want to buy or short.

  6. Confirm your trade: Once you've filled out the required information, click on "Confirm". You will then see a trade confirmation on the next screen.

Please note that Pluto only supports market orders for now. If you place a trade outside standard trading session hours, your order will be executed at the next market open. At this time, it's not possible to set a specific time for your trades to execute, or to preview a trade before executing it.

While this guide covers manual trading, you can also execute trades automatically using Pluto's trading automations. These can be activated in the "Automations" tab of your portfolio.

Finally, there are no trade fees on Pluto. All you need to do is decide on the stock and the number of shares you want to trade.
